YOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1
22 November 2026

Hotel

LA SAMANNA, a Belmond hotel

Meals

half board

Flight Time

10 hours

Weather

daytime temp. of 30°C

Your trip of a lifetime is finally here! After months of waiting, we are starting our grand three-week adventure that will take us to eight attractive locations around the world. We start with an early morning flight from Prague / Bratislava, where a delicious breakfast, lunch and full drinks menu awaits us on board our private jet to the Caribbean. Since we are traveling against time, we land on the Caribbean French-Dutch island of SAINT MARTIN in the afternoon local time (with a technical stopover for refueling). Just a short transfer from the Dutch to the French part of the island, and our first home on our great journey around the world will be a luxurious beach resort. Maybe you would like a swim in the sea or in the pool before dinner, or enjoy a Caribbean drink on the terrace above the beach instead? The choice is yours!

DAY 2
23 November 2026

Meals

breakfast, welcome dinner

Weather

daytime temp. of 30°C

Today we don’t have any big activities planned, just relaxation on the beach under the hot Caribbean sun (what a contrast to our November weather!), between breakfast and a nice welcome dinner. Even the several kilometer-long sandy beach is worth a walk.

Those of you wishing to join the golf party have an attractive treat to start your Journey Around the World – the top golf course in the Caribbean from the Greg Norman design workshop, namely Aurora Anguilla Golf Resort on the neighboring island of Anguilla (from the hotel the trip there takes just a little over an hour by minivan and boat).

DAY 3
24 November 2026

Hotel

OUR HABITAS ATACAMA)

Meals

half board

Flight Time

6 hours

Weather

daytime of 24°C

Before we know it, our first stop is behind us. After breakfast and a short transfer to the airport, we fly southwards, towards the Pacific coast of Latin America. Today’s flight across the equator to the southern hemisphere will be made more enjoyable by a good in-flight lunch, snacks and a few drinks. Late in the afternoon we land in northern CHILE, where the Atacama Desert reigns supreme.

From Calama airport, at an altitude of more than 2,200 meters, we head to an even higher location – San Pedro de Atacama, where our boutique resort is also located (approximately a 1.5 hours transfer). At dinner, our guides introduce us to this truly unique place on Earth, and after sunset we explore the southern night sky together. The view of it is breathtaking!

DAY 4 - 5
25 November - 26 November 2026

Meals

half board

Weather

daytime of 24°C

We will enjoy two amazing days of discovering the charms of the driest desert in the world, the Atacama Desert, two days that will change our view of our world. We will have breakfast, lunch and dinner at our hotel, and one lunch during the tour in a local restaurant.

The first day will be slower and undemanding, so that we can acclimatize to the higher altitude. After breakfast, we will go to the natural thermal baths of Termas Baňos de Puritama (30 km from the hotel). Eight pools, arranged in a cascade over a one-kilometer section, with geothermal water full of healing minerals will pleasantly refresh us. Since we are not undertaking any long hikes or walks, the local altitude of almost 3,500 metres is not a problem. We will enjoy a good lunch at our hotel, from where we will set off in the afternoon to explore the town of San Pedro de Atacama. Anyone that slept early yesterday will have a chance to make up for it after sunset, by observing the amazing night sky in this part of the world. Golfers will forgo the first day of exploration, but will instead play on the unique desert eighteen at Club De Golf Rio Loa.

The second day will be more difficult, but all the more attractive. We will explore the treasures of the salt flats and the Andean plateau. We will discover the Chaxa lagoon, located in the Los Flamencos National Reserve, a peaceful paradise for flamingos and other birds. Afterwards, we will visit the picturesque Andean village of Socaire, known for its traditional cuisine and ancient agricultural practices. The adventure continues in the village of Toconao, home to the historic bell tower and church of San Lucas, both national monuments, and a vibrant local artisan scene. This is a unique experience that combines nature, culture and tradition in the heart of the Atacama Desert. To end the day, we will also visit the Cejar Lagoon with its turquoise blue water and high salt content.

DAY 6
27 November 2026

Hotel

NAYARA HANGAROA

Meals

Flight Time

6 hours

Weather

daytime of 24°C

After breakfast, we will transfer to the airport to fly again and find another treat awaiting us on our Journey Around the World – Easter Island in CHILE. The domestic Chilean flight to the most remote place on our planet takes approximately six hours, so we will land on the legendary Rapa Nui in the afternoon.

Immediately after checking into our accommodation in a luxurious resort with a view of the ocean and enjoying a small snack, we will all be eager to see the first real Moai statues up close. Some are just a short walk from the hotel! Then later on, to help us fall asleep in the middle of the Pacific, we will have a lovely dinner with Chilean wines at our hotel.

DAY 7
28 November 2026

Meals

full board

Weather

daytime of 24°C

Yesterday we only saw a little of Easter Island, so today we will take it in full. A full-day tour of the entire island with several stops – Ahu Vaihu with 8 Moai statues (unfortunately, only ruins, which have become a symbol of ancient civilizations like the pyramids or the Great Wall of China), the Rano Raraku volcano where 95% of the local mysterious statues with large heads and a somewhat ‘bloated’ expression were carved, Ahu Tongariki with 15 Moai statues set before a backdrop of the wild waves of the Pacific Ocean, and the sandy Anakena beach. The ocean is 22°C so why not try swimming in this iconic destination?

We interrupt our wanderings around the island with an incredible atmosphere, but also history, where more horses live than people, and lunch. In the evening we talk about our experiences from this amazing day in the hotel restaurant over a delicious dinner, but before that, we will have a drink on its terrace with a beautiful view of the sunset over the ocean!

DAY 8

Hotel

THE WESTIN BORA BORA

Meals

Flight Time

6

Weather

daytime of 30°C

After a farewell breakfast at the end of the world, we will have just a few minutes transfer to the airport for our next flight which is just less than six hours. After relaxing on board and enjoying our in-flight catering, we will land in the morning at the Papeete airport on Tahiti island in FRENCH POLYNESIA. After completing passport and customs procedures we transfer to a domestic plane (our aircraft is too big for a local flight) and in just 45 minutes we will be in a dream paradise, BORA BORA.

From the small local airport, we will be transported to our luxury beach resort by boat transfer across the beautiful blue lagoon. After checking into our accommodation in water bungalows sitting directly above the turquoise sea, our Polynesian ‘doing nothing’ begins, along with dinner!

So that our golf enthusiasts are not out of practice for too long, we will adjust their afternoon program a little after arriving in Tahiti. From Papeete airport, they will fly to a former cotton plantation about 40 km away, where the PGA Tahiti International Open tournament is now being played at the 18-hole Atimaono Golf Club. The golf group will fly back to Bora Bora by evening flight from Tahiti, so that they can have dinner together with the others in the magical setting of one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world.

DAY 9 - 10

DAY 11
02 December 2026

After a last breakfast with a wonderful view of Otemanu, we will travel by boat and then air transfer to Tahiti, where our plane is waiting for us, which will take us further west to the coast of the Antipodes. As we will be flying over the date line, we can move the date on our watches one day ahead. After a good rest, with lunch and dinner in-flight, we can suitably enjoy the nearly ten-hour flight across Oceania (with a technical stopover for refueling).

Meals

Weather

daytime of 30°C

We have two days to explore two natural gems of the Australian state of Queensland, which are also listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We will sail by cruise ship / motor catamaran to two unique locations on the Great Barrier Reef. The first stop after about an hour of sailing is the Wonder Wall on the outer edge of the Upolu reef. During lunch we will sail to the second location on the Upolu Cay reef. During several hours of snorkeling and diving at these two very different reef destinations, we will immerse ourselves in everything that the Great Barrier Reef has to offer, and we will still have time to relax and enjoy the true beauty both above and below the surface!

Day two and another natural adventure – the Daintree rainforest. From the hotel we will travel north by minibus along the beautiful scenic coastal route. Our first stop is the majestic Daintree River, where we will enjoy an informative cruise with wildlife viewing including crocodiles in the estuary. We will emerge over the Alexandra Range and stop to enjoy panoramic views of the World Heritage Site, the humid tropics and tropical rainforest, which merge with the azure colours of the Coral Sea. We will experience and feel the rainforest on one of the elevated walkways in the national park. After a local lunch, we will have the opportunity to refresh ourselves with a swim in the rainforest stream in the crystal clear fresh water. We will end our full-day rainforest adventure with a walk along the famous Cape Tribulation Beach, where the rainforest meets the cliff, before returning to the hotel in the evening.

Our golfers will feel like they are in paradise when they play on Australia’s only tropical links course – Palmer Sea Reef Golf Course. This coastal course, where sugarcane was once grown, boasts wide undulating fairways, 89 sand bunkers, large greens and seaside scenery, which guarantees an excellent golfing experience.

After both days, a delicious dinner will be served in our hotel. Those who do not wish to join us for any of the prepared excursions can simply relax by the pool in our beautiful boutique resort, and enjoy a stroll along the Palm Cove coast.

The former land of the Khmer Rouge has changed and tourists are welcome here. SIEM REAP is the gateway to Angkor with its breathtaking ‘world’ temples.

After about an hour’s transfer from the new airport, we are will check in to a luxury hotel right in the city center. We have a late afternoon and evening ahead of us, so there is plenty of time to enjoy the nice swimming pool, spa, city center and market, numerous shops, bars and restaurants. Weather

daytime of 26 – 30°C

Today’s program will be long, demanding and exhausting, but will also be breathtaking, educational and full of different flavors.

The full-day trip to ANGKOR WAT starts early in the morning to avoid the heat and high humidity. We head to the monumental temple complex of Angkor Wat in typical local tuk-tuks, which, with its 300 temples, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We spend a three-hour morning walking and exploring several Hindu and Buddhist temples and learning about their history, sophistication and grandeur, along with the unique features of the Angkor Empire.

Before lunch, we return to our hotel and relax for an hour by the pool. After a short yet very pleasant rest, we will have a delicious Khmer lunch at a local restaurant and in the afternoon we will continue to explore the second half of our planned list of temples (to be on the safe side, we will only travel in air-conditioned minibuses!). After a busy day, we will take a short rest at the hotel, so that we will be refreshed for a nice dinner.

The golf party will enjoy its final golf test today at the nearby Angkor Golf Resort, whose architect is the legendary European golfer Sir Nick Faldo. This flat championship course is lined with tall palm trees, vast sand bunkers and lakes at each of the 18 holes. Those who successfully complete it can join our explorers of the ancient temple complex Angkor Wat in the afternoon.

This is an experience rich in captivating views and compelling stories that bring the Nabataean legacy to life.

From the monumental Qasr Al-Farid to the spiritual halls of the Diwan, each site invites wonder and reflection. An early evening photo opportunity at Elephant Rock (Jabal Al-Fil) will be a beautiful end to another desert day on our Journey Around the World. Was Atacama or Al-Ula more beautiful?

We will have the whole evening to reflect on these and other questions, memories and experiences, at our farewell dinner at our resort.

DAY 21
12 December 2026

Weather

daytime of 25°C

Everything in life comes to an end, including our great Journey Around the World! However, we will still enjoy a free morning with a late breakfast, and then just before lunch we will head to the airport from where we will fly to Bratislava and then Prague in four and a half hours.

It is always difficult to evaluate at this point which of the eight destinations was the best. Everyone has their own ranking, and that is what it is all about. The diversity of our personal views, tastes, feelings and experiences of exciting and extraordinary moments make us different from each other, but at the same time, helps to unite us too. Especially through our passion for travel.

So the question now is, are we going next year too?
