What aircraft will we fly on?
We fly on a modern Boeing 737-800/MAX, specially configured with just 64 seats in a spacious Premium layout inspired by the comfort of a private jet. Passengers enjoy comfortable double seats that recline up to 120°, with a generous 114 cm (45 in) seat pitch. Every couple is guaranteed a window seat. Our crew consists of three highly experienced pilots (including two captains), four friendly and attentive flight attendants, and two skilled aircraft technicians, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and seamless journey throughout your trip.
Where does the journey start, and how do I get there?
Our journeys begin in Bratislava, Slovakia, departing from the private jet terminal at Bratislava International Airport. If you are from abroad, your experience starts with a pre-departure overnight stay in Bratislava, allowing you to relax before your adventure begins. Your package also includes return Business Class airfare from major European cities to Vienna or Bratislava, along with private airport and local transfers.
Can I choose my seat on board the aircraft?
Yes. Seating is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Whenever you book your journey with us, you can have a look onto the seatmap and specify your preferred seat. We will do our best to accommodate your request. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred seat and guarantee your place on this extraordinary journey. When booking a Journey Around the World by Leonardo, you do not need to provide the names of all passengers at the time of booking. Passenger names can be submitted or changed at any time up to 14 days before departure.
How does it work before departure and during the flight?
All flights on Leonardo Journeys Around the World are operated during the day, with an average flight time of approximately six hours. After a restful night in a luxury hotel and a leisurely breakfast, you will be comfortably transferred to the airport. Thanks to our exclusive group of just 64 guests, check-in is quick and seamless, allowing you to board the aircraft with ease. Once on board, you’ll enjoy attentive service, premium dining, and a spacious, comfortable seating environment throughout your flight. Because our flights depart in the morning and are relatively short, fully flat-bed seats simply aren’t necessary. Instead, we have chosen to maximize comfort and space while keeping the journey more affordable. Why pay significantly more for a feature you are unlikely to use?
Luggage?
Upon arrival at each destination, your checked baggage will be transferred directly from the airport to your hotel by our service team. Likewise, on departure, your luggage will be collected from your hotel room and transported to the airport, allowing you to travel comfortably without having to handle your bags.
Each guest may bring 30 kg of checked baggage plus 8 kg of hand luggage, more than enough for a comfortable journey around the world.
Golfers are also welcome to bring their own travel golf bag, with an additional baggage allowance of up to 10 kg.

Do you have experience hosting international guests on your Journeys Around the World?
Yes. We launched our unique Journeys Around the World concept in 2012, and the 2026 edition marks our 10th journey. To date, we have welcomed 452 highly satisfied guests, with more than 30% choosing to travel with us again on another journey, a testament to the quality of the experience we provide. In 2025, we opened our journeys to international guests for the first time. We were delighted to welcome travellers from Germany, Switzerland, and Sweden, and their feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Building on that success, we are excited to welcome even more globetrotters from across Europe on our upcoming editions.
Sightseeing or golf?
The hallmark of every Leonardo Journey Around the World is a carefully curated programme of sightseeing tours and excursions, showcasing the most iconic attractions and landmarks at each destination. All tours are led by knowledgeable English-speaking guides and are designed to be enjoyable and suitable for guests with a reasonable level of mobility.
Participation is always your choice, you are free to join the organised tours or spend your time exploring independently.
For golf enthusiasts, each destination also offers exceptional golfing opportunities. The only real dilemma is deciding between another unforgettable sightseeing experience and another memorable round of golf. If you choose to play golf, you may miss some of the scheduled sightseeing tours, but you’ll enjoy outstanding courses accompanied by our experienced English-speaking golf host throughout your journey.
How are the stops organised? Will I have free time?
Our itineraries are carefully designed to offer the perfect balance of sightseeing, relaxation, and, where available, golf. At each destination, you can choose from a selection of optional experiences or simply enjoy time at your own pace. Whether you prefer exploring iconic landmarks, relaxing at your luxury hotel, playing a round of golf, or discovering a destination independently, the choice is yours. We believe that every journey should match your travel style, which is why our programme is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to make the most of each destination.
Are solo travellers welcome?
Absolutely! We warmly welcome solo travellers. In fact, around 15% of our guests travel on their own, and many return home with lifelong friendships. Our private jet journeys provide the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded travellers in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you enjoy exploring independently or sharing unforgettable experiences with new friends, you’ll feel right at home. Solo travellers can enjoy a highly personalised experience while becoming part of a friendly group of fellow adventurers.
Where can I find reviews or feedback from guests who joined previous journeys?
You actually can’t and that’s entirely by design. Protecting our guests’ privacy is one of our highest priorities. For this reason, we do not publish personal photos, videos, or testimonials from previous Journeys Around the World in our brochures, on our website, or across our social media channels. One exception is a documentary produced by the German television channel ProSieben during our Journey Around the World 2025. FAQ - PRACTICAL
What languages are spoken?
English is spoken by our entire flight crew and the Leonardo team, both on board and throughout every stop on the journey. All guided tours are conducted in English by knowledgeable local guides, accompanied by one of our experienced English-speaking tour managers, ensuring a seamless experience throughout your trip.
If you are travelling as a group of at least eight guests, we can also arrange a dedicated tour manager who speaks your preferred language, such as German, French, Italian, Polish, or Spanish… In that case, your group will enjoy the entire journey together with your own private tour manager.
What vaccinations do I need? Are there any health requirements?
No mandatory vaccinations are required to travel with us. If any country visited requires it, we inform our clients accordingly. We recommend visiting your family doctor before your journey to ensure you are fit to travel and to discuss any vaccinations that may be advisable for international travel, such as Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and tetanus, depending on your medical history and travel plans. To fully enjoy the journey, guests should be able to walk unassisted for approximately one hour, as some experiences include leisurely walking tours or easy scenic walks. For your added comfort and peace of mind, a doctor accompanies every Journey Around the World and is available throughout the trip.
Who takes care of the pre-tour administrative formalities and visas?
We take care of all the administrative formalities on your behalf, including visa applications, travel insurance, and all necessary travel documentation. All we need from you is a passport copy and a passport-sized photo. From there, our experienced team handles the rest, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience before your journey even begins. You can simply look forward to your adventure while we take care of the paperwork.
What will Leonardo do to help me prepare for the journey?
Twenty-one days before departure, you will receive a personalised travel booklet containing everything you need to prepare for your journey. It includes practical packing advice, expected weather conditions, and detailed information about your itinerary, sightseeing tours and excursions (or golf, where applicable), as well as your accommodation. Our goal is to ensure you are fully prepared before you leave home, so you can simply relax and look forward to your adventure. If you have any questions before departure, our dedicated team will be happy to assist you, ensuring you feel confident and ready for your Journey Around the World.
Booking and payment
Our package price is “all in” and includes also all tours / excursions or golf, international travel insurance, local fees and taxes, fees for tourist visas, even tips and gratuities for local tour guides, drivers and porters. Mandatory contractual insurance of a travel agency in case of insolvency is also included (Leonardo is insured by Generali insurance company under EU law).
When booking, you pay only 25% deposit.
