JOURNEYS AROUND THE WORLD is a signature product of Leonardo, a travel agency with three decades of experience. We began as a small tour operator, but we dared to dream bigger. We pioneered new ways of travel. Today, you can explore the world with Leonardo in two ways! The classic way, by letting us transform your holiday ideas into a perfectly tailored journey, or the extraordinary way, circling the globe aboard our private jet.

1997

FOUNDATION

The travel agency LEONARDO-OSCAR s.r.o. has been operating on the Czech and Slovak market since 1997. We began our activities by organizing tours to Portugal, where in 1998 we had as many as 800 clients at the World Expo EXPO in Lisbon. The next countries in our offer were South Africa and Costa Rica, which at that time were the only visa-free “exotic” destinations.

2003

FIRST CHARTERS

We were the first to introduce charter flights to the Turkish resorts of Bodrum and Marmaris to the Slovak market, and in 2003, we also launched the first “exotic” charter flights to Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Dubai. The following year, we added flights to the island of Mauritius.

2010

WORLD (CUP) EXPERIENCE

In 2010, we organized air tours for over 400 Slovak fans to the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, a historic event as it was the first time Slovakia qualified for the tournament. We are an authorized agent of IATA (International Air Transport Association), which enables us to arrange air travel to virtually any destination around the world.

2012

FIRST TIME AROUND THE WORLD

In 2012, Leonardo became the first travel agency in the Czech and Slovak market to organize a unique 24-day Around the World journey by private plane for 64 travelers. To this day, we remain the only agency in Slovakia capable of repeatedly organizing such demanding trips. Each new journey is unique, as we carefully select new and exceptional destinations for our discerning clients.
